Pepperjack Scotch Fillet Graded McLaren Vale Shiraz 750ml

$43.99 each

Description

McLaren Vale was named in 1837 by David McLaren who was appointed to survey the area. The region quickly became settled with the earliest vineyards planted in 1838. McLaren Vale's maritime climate, limited water and warm summers make the ideal climate for shiraz. The fruit is intensely flavoured and the resulting wine has a deep purple colour that can last decades in the bottle. McLaren Vale shiraz is distinguished by its ripeness, softness, structure and complexity.

The wine was fermented then aged in a mix of French & American oak. Individual parcels are then matured separately to maximise complexity.

Aged for 12 months.

Tasting Notes
